About the Meeting
For the first time, Staple Inn Actuarial Society (SIAS), Indian Actuarial Network UK (IANUK) and Chinese Actuarial Network (CAN) have come together to host a programme talk.
This event will explore how actuaries play a crucial role in emerging markets by applying their expertise to develop innovative products and solutions. Topics will include the unique challenges and opportunities actuaries face in emerging economies and the impact of new technologies and developing regulations on actuarial practices.
Speakers for the event are as follows:
Ms. Kalpana Shah-Sheth, IFOA President, who will moderate the event.
Dr. Zuo Huiqiang, Deputy General Manager China Re P&C (representing the Chinese market).
Mr. Anurag Rastogi, Council member of Institute of Actuaries of India and Mentor & Advisor actuary (representing the Indian market).
Mr. Hasham Piperdy, General Manager, Badri Management consultancy (representing the Middle East market).
The session will be followed by an open Q&A session.
