After a 2 year break the SIAS Poker tournament is back! To bluff or not to bluff... that is the question!
SIAS Plays Poker is back! No experience is needed. Beginners’ practice sessions start from 6.30pm and the main competition starts at 7.00pm. Some people say Actuaries and Actuarial students should have a natural affinity for the game, or is it luck that will play a part! Buy a ticket and find out on the night.
Price of the ticket includes tournament entry, canapes (starter, mains and ice cream) and 2 drinks (beer wine, house spirit or soft drink) for each ticket. We believe it incredible value for the ticket price. There will be prizes for the top 10. The amount will depend on ticket sales.
If you are unlucky in the tournament then you can continue playing on the other casino tables, but be warned...you could lose money as well as win money!
