SIAS is hosting its 84th Annual Dinner at Tobacco Dock. Lose yourself in the Enchanted Forest, a place of mystery and intrigue.  Let ethereal companions take you on a journey of excitement and exhilaration.  Dress sharp and be ready to transported to The Enchanted Forest, and who knows maybe we will experience some magic!

This year's Annual Dinner will be held on Friday 25 November 2022 at Tobacco Dock, Tobacco Quay, Wapping Ln, London E1W 2SF from 6.30pm onwards.

The night will include a sparkling reception, entertainment, a three-course meal and some extras to be revealed! Your ticket includes unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks.

Tickets go on sale on Monday 15th August. SIAS is offering ‘Early Bird’ ticket prices of £85 for a SIAS member and £110 for non-members.  Buy tickets from www.metooo.io/e/siasball2022

Our event normally has 700 people attend.  This year we have decided to sell tickets earlier in order to gauge demand and work out if the event is viable to run with reduced numbers or at all.  If you buy a ticket and the event does not go ahead you will receive a refund.

FAQ

COVID

Currently there are no requirements to be followed.  Should government advice and legislation change we will adapt this to the event.

Ticket Sales

Ticket sales will take place online via metooo (www.metooo.io/e/siasball2022). In cases where companies pay for your tickets, this will follow the same process so please purchase the tickets on metooo and request a reimbursement from your company as you would do an expense claim. Please email social@sias.org.uk if you require an invoice.

If you are having any issues with the online system SIAS would advise you purchase any required tickets and email social@sias.org.uk with any queries you may have. Our email inbox is not monitored daily and this will avoid you not getting tickets to the event.

If you are purchasing tickets for an individual who is not yet a member of the IFoA or SIAS, then please purchase tickets as normal and leave the ARN field blank (or enter zeros if it requires an input). You will need to follow up with confirmation of the ARN and SIAS membership once they have it, even if this is after the ball.

Group Bookings

If you are placing a large group booking (five full tables or more) and will pay via a bank transfer (not debit nor credit card) then please email social@sias.org.uk and we will arrange for the tickets to be purchased separately.

Table Plan

Please purchase your tickets in the group you would like to sit with. As tables are of size 10 we may have to split up groups of size 7,8 and 9 in order to make accommodate everyone in the venue. Please keep this in mind when purchasing tickets. Please type in any seating requests into the order form when prompted.

Cloakroom

There is a cloakroom at the event this will be able to hold coats, jackets, and any other luggage you may have.

Exact timings will be confirmed closer to the event

After Party

We are not planning to organise an after party. However if our approach changes we will let you know.

Meal

A 3-Course meal will be served to your table. Please enter any dietary requirements into the order form for these to be taken into account.

Payment for drinks and raffle tickets

The event will be card only including payment for drinks at the bar and raffle tickets

Refunds

SIAS does not offer refunds on tickets sold. Should you no longer be able to make the event after purchasing a ticket we can assist by putting you in touch with anyone on the waiting list.

Dress Code

A first for the SIAS Annual Dinner, the dress code for the evening is "Enchanted Forest Black Tie".
