About the Meeting
Painting the Portrait of the Modern Actuary
In a world of data science, abundant computational power, and artificial intelligence, what does the modern actuary look like? In this talk, a possible future of the actuarial profession is envisaged by comparing data scientists to actuaries. How the modern actuary will complete their work, the skills they will need, and the structure of their teams will be presented.
Note that in person places will be offered on a first come first serve basis. We will confirm with attendees closer to the event whether they have the option to attend in person or not.
Speaker: Caesar Balona FASSA (head of data science team at QED Actuaries & Consultants)
