About the Volunteering
One of the objectives of SIAS is to promote and educate others on the actuarial profession as well as provide members of SIAS the opportunity to develop soft skills (such as presentations skills).
As part of this initiative we have organised a talk at Imperial College, where SIAS volunteers can speak to the MSc Statistics students about the Actuarial profession and introduce the practical aspects of how actuaries use maths and stats at their every day working lives.
If you are interested to take part in this or any future volunteering events, please register your interest at charity@sias.org.uk.
