About the Meeting
SIAS is delighted to announce that following its Annual General Meeting, we will be hosting a panel discussion on Intergenerational fairness. This is in line with the IFoA intergenerational fairness series and their belief that it must be a priority for policymakers. There are a whole host of issues where a long-term view is essential if we are going to meet today’s needs, without putting future generations at a disadvantage.
Paul Sweeting will be chairing the discussion with Fiona Morrison, Peter Tompkins and Louise Pryor as guest speakers covering Gender opportunities, Retirement and Climate change respectively.
Refreshments will be served from 17:30 and the lecture will follow the SIAS AGM which will run from 17:45 to 18:00. There is no need to register in advance for this meeting and non-members are welcome.
This lecture will be preceded by SIAS’s AGM for 2016/2017. Details on the AGM can be found here
