About the Social Event

To bluff or not to bluff... that is the question!

The New Year has just started and the SIAS Poker Night is back! No experience is needed. Beginners’ practice sessions start from 6.45pm and the main competition starts at 7.00pm.  People say it is a game of probability.  Some people say Actuaries, or Actuarial students should have a natural affinity for the game!  Buy a ticket and find out on the night.

There will be cash prizes for everyone who makes it to the last table (top 10).  They will be required to pose for photos to be eligible for the prize!

Prices includes tournament entry, canapes and 2 drinks (beer wine, house spirit or soft drink) for each ticket.

If you are unlucky in the tournament then you can continue playing on the other casino tables, but be warned...you could lose money as well as win money!
